Unforgiveness

You’ve been hurt. Hurt by a friend, family, by the Church or even a stranger. Your left with pain, suffering, nothingness.

You’ve been wronged and it’s painful. The pain lingers on and on inside. You are suffering from this one that has hurt you. Your pain is a wound. It’s turned into anger. It’s a natural feeling we get after we’ve been hurt. The anger grows and grows and turns into bitterness. The roots of bitterness are deep. What’s growing now is hate and unforgiveness. What’s been brewing on the inside is bubbling out of you for all to see and hear.

Maybe you have been wronged by someone – a friend, family, or even The Church. You want to fight back. Prove your point. Write those song about the ones who hurt you. Spread the word on what they did to you, to your country, to your family. How long do you hold on to this? It will destroy you. It will destroy – YOU.

Forgive the ones who have wronged you. You can’t control what others do, but you can control what you do. You have a choice. Let the choice be to forgive. It doesn’t mean you have to be friends with the person/people who hurt you. Just don’t hold onto that hurt, that unforgiveness.

It’s what you do with the hurt and the pain that makes the difference.
Let it go.

Matthew 6;14-15, “For if you forgive people their trespasses [their [a]reckless and willful sins, [b]leaving them, letting them go, and [c]giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their [d]reckless and willful sins, [e]leaving them, letting them go, and [f]giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.”
